Design Brief
Ultra-photorealistic 3-meter wide hallway in a Bali-inspired villa-style bungalow, 15.5 meters in length. At the end of the hallway, there is a door leading to the back of the house. The hallway is centrally positioned, with a bedroom on the left side and a living room, dining room, and kitchen on the right side. Decorated in a Bali villa theme: rich teak wood accents, natural stone flooring, and elements like bamboo, cane, and tropical plants. Ambient lighting with soft, warm tones enhances the tropical feel. Large windows with sheer curtains allow plenty of natural daylight, casting soft shadows and creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.
FAQ
Break up the long expanse by laying low-profile runner rugs made of natural fibers like jute, preserving footpaths while showcasing the underlying textured stone perimeter.
Incorporate light-toned bamboo or cane display consoles against open wall sections to soften the deep wood tones and keep the three-meter passage visually airy.
Place potted specimen plants directly within the soft, filtered daylight patches near windows, leaving clear central walkways to maintain seamless movement between adjoining rooms.
Install concealed wall sconces along the perimeter to emit a gentle glow, drawing the eye naturally toward the rear threshold without creating harsh glare.
